I think it looks pretty good! Our initial goal was to complete the exterior of The Mill by the end of 2024 and, except for some landscaping, drives and sidewalks; we’re about there.
We’ve continued to plan for every interior detail; people, processes, systems, marketing and advertising. We’ve spent a lot of time discussing guest expectations and how we can create a really special guest experience.
We anticipate interior construction to begin sometime late March or early April. We haven’t put a hard opening date as we want to be sure every detail has been planned. As it will be our initial entry into the luxury lodging market, and Frankenmuth’s only luxury lodging property, we feel we only have one opportunity to get this right. I just like to say, “We’ll Open When We’re Ready”!
I think The Mill looks particularly good at night. If you happen to drive by, let me know what you think.
