Golf Course

The Fortress is a division of Zehnder’s and is one of Michigan’s top 25 golf courses. This breathtaking beauty spans over 6,800 yards of remarkable gameplay, highlighted by fescue-covered mounds, and lush sectioned greens. The Fortress was designed by golf architect Dick Nugent in 1992, which reveals characteristics of golf’s early Scottish origins. Bent-grass tees, greens, and fairways surround 75 bunkers.

Players have a few warm-up options, including the putting green, the chipping green with a practice bunker, and the target-oriented driving range. Special events, tournaments, clinics, and junior programs are scheduled throughout the season.
