It’s probably been said a million times; “April showers bring May flowers”. Apparently that statement first showed up in a poem in the late 1500’s in the UK. So it’s been around a long time.
April not only brings showers for spring flowers, it also ushers in the golf season at The Fortress. Our crews have been working diligently preparing for an opening sometime early to mid-April. The course wintered very well and even now looks in great shape. The final phase of our all new cart path project will begin as soon as the asphalt plants open this spring. And our beautiful new Pavilion will see it’s first full year of operation. The once popular Friday Night BBQ’s will be back this season.
