We’ve noticed over the past few years that many of our guests are requesting hot sauce or buffalo style sauce with their fried chicken. It got us thinking!
We started to play around with different styles of seasonings, taste-tested them with several tasting panels and came up with three great new products. The taste and flavor profile of the Original Buffalo Sauce recipe comes from Frank’s Hot Sauce. So…we went to the source, the company that sells peppers to Frank’s and talked them into selling those same peppers to us for our seasonings. That way, the pepper flavor is true buffalo!
We off our new Buffalo Seasonings in both Mild and Hot. Along the way, we played with a sweet BBQ seasoning that most all of our taste-testers said was “killer” so we decided to feature it along with the Buffalo Seasonings – Zehnder’s Sweet Honey Barbecue Seasoning.
